PURPOSE: To prevent the crack, destruction and peeling of a crosslinked resin layer by adding a volatile inhibitor suppressing the crosslinking of a resin compsn. during stretching operation to a thermally crosslinkable silicone resin compsn. CONSTITUTION: In a method for producing an oriented polymeric film, a thermally crosslinkable resin compsn. layer is formed on the surface of a polymeric film and the film is stretched at a high temp. in order to obtain the orientation properties of the film. A thermally crosslinkable siline resin compsn. is a compsn. containing a volatile inhibitor for suppressing the crosslinking of the compsn. during stretching operation. The amt. of the inhibitor contained in the resin compsn. is pref. 0.1-5% by wt. of the resin compsn. As an example of the inhibitor, a volatile amine, a volatile alkyne and acetyl alcohol can be designated and, especially pref., the inhibitor is monoethanolamine. As a polymeric film to be handled, a polyester film or a polypropylene film is contained and, especially, the latter is desirable from an aspect of flatness and rigidity after orientation operation. |
