<p>of the Invention A constant carrier watchdog circuit for an r.f. modem detects an anomalous constatnt "carrier on" condition in the modem. In response to this anomalous condition a signal is generated and output to the modem. The signal causes the carrier frequency to shift out of the data channel frequency bands so that the anomalous modem does not affect other users on a telecommunicattion network.</p> |
