PURPOSE:To improve the speed at the time of both sides copying by copying only the even numbered pages of the originals and storing them in a middle tray at a 1st time of paper feeding and copying only the odd numbered pages at the time of a 2nd paper feeding. CONSTITUTION:When copying a multiple number of originals on a 1 to 1 basis using an Auto Document Feeder ADF at a mode where both sided copies are obtained from single sided originals, the title device copies only the even numbered pages (odd numbered pages) of originals at the time of the 1st paper feeding, and at the same time, storing the transfer paper copied on one side at the time of the 1st paper feeding in the middle tray, and at the time of the 2nd paper feeding copies only the uncopied originals from the originals, on the back side of transfer papers fed from the middle tray, and also newly copies onto new transfer papers fed from a normal paper feeding tray. Therefore the time required for storing each copying paper for each original in the middle tray can be shortened. Thus copying speed can be improved when continuously carrying out both sides copying. |
