<p>PURPOSE:To normally operate a sheet thickness changing controller by changing both set values of roll gap and roll speed when a rolling schedule changing amount before and after sheet thickness changing is larger than a prescribed value and changing only a set sheet thickness target value when the amount is smaller than the prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:As for a device changing and controlling a sheet thickness in flying mounted on a tandem rolling mill, a roll setter 11 controls drafting devices 2a-2e to adjust roll gap amounts for respective rolls when a rolling schedule changing amount is large. Also, roll motor speed controllers 3a-3e are adjusted to control rotation of roll driving motors 6a-6e to adjust respective roll speeds. A switch 14 is off, a set roll gap and a set roll speed values are not changed by the roll setter 11 and a set sheet thickness is only changed by a sheet thickness setter 12 when a rolling schedule amount is small. At that time, a sheet thickness changing command is continuously outputted to change only a sheet thickness to a sheet thickness target value.</p> |
