<p>PURPOSE:To automatically discriminate a target, by obtaining the angular difference of the latitude and longitude to the position of the own ship from the azimuth and distance from the position of the own ship to a searching position and calculating the distance between the base point of a chart and the position of the own ship as the angular difference of the latitude and longitude to allow the searching position to correspond to the chart. CONSTITUTION:The angle and position signals of a searching position are inputted to a radar control part 28 from an antenna part 27 and an image signal 281 is guided to a target mark forming part 22 and a radar image forming part 24. The signal is converted to orthogonal coordinates in the forming part 24 to be stored in forming part 24 to be stored in a radar image memory 25.
