PURPOSE:To eliminate operation setting for stroboscopic flashing or its release and to simultaneously take photographs with stroboscopic flashing by continuous ly carrying out stroboscopic and normal AE photographing actions in one photographing operation. CONSTITUTION:The camera incorporates, as control sequence, a continuous photographing means which continuously carries out the stroboscopic photographing action and the normal AE photographing action thereafter. The stroboscopic photographing action is such that, when a sequence control circuit 12, which controls the whole operation of the camera, obtains from a photometry circuit 3 either the back light of a main object or a photometric output below the level of the specified stroboscopic photographing brightness which is previous ly set, photographing is performed while a stroboscopic device 9 is flashed by means of a stroboscope driving circuit 8. The normal AE photographing action is such that; without stroboscopic flashing, photographing is performed by setting an appropriate diaphragm and appropriate shutter speed by means of an automatic exposure control circuit 1. Thus, both photographs with strobo scopic flashing and without it are taken at the same time, thereby eliminating the operation setting for a stroboscopic flashing mode or its release. |
