PURPOSE:To obtain a good copied image of different image reproducibility by changing the toner density of developer by interlocking with the developer feeding quantity and its change. CONSTITUTION:A control means 30 outputs signal to developer feeding quantity changing means 35, 38 and a toner density changing means 38 according to the type of an image to be copied so as to interlockingly change the feeding quantity and the toner density. When the signal is inputted to the developer feeding quantity changing means 35, 38 and the toner density changing means 38, the feeding quantity of the developer to be fed to the developing region where an electrostatic latent image is formed on an electrophotographic photosensitive body surface by the developer feeding means is switched by the developer feeding quantity changing means 35 and 38, and simultaneously, the toner density of the developer to be fed by the developer feeding means is switched by the toner density changing means 38. Therefore, the feeding quantity and the density of the developer are interlockingly changed. Thus, the good copied image of the different reproducibility suitable to the each image characteristic of the original is obtained. |
