<p>What is proposed is a method for compensating for the CO2 deficit in, and for heating, greenhouses, in which method the oxygen-enriched air above assimilating plants is withdrawn and passed through or above rapidly composting organic material for the purposes of aerobic, oxidative composting, and the air which, in this process, is warmed, depleted of oxygen and enriched with CO2, is recirculated to the plants, preferably from underneath the plants; there is also proposed a device for carrying out this method which provides an air suction ventilator 8 especially above a vegetation zone 2 in a greenhouse 1 and a composting zone 5, which is preferably provided within the greenhouse, for the aerobic, oxidative composting of rapidly compostable organic material; furthermore, a connecting duct 10 is arranged between the air suction ventilator 8 and the composting zone 5, through which the air which has been aspirated is passed into the composting zone 5, and a connection is arranged between the composting zone and an air return element, through which the air removed from the composting zone 5 is returned to the plants 3. <IMAGE></p> |
