PURPOSE:To reduce the appearance dimension of a data transmission side and to obtain the title equipment reducing its power consumption by allowing the data transmission side to reflect light from a data receiving side to execute data transmission. CONSTITUTION:In case of executing data transmission, data to be transmitted is developed to the array of data '1' or 'phi' by a data modulating circuit 1. Whether the array of the data is '1' or 'phi' is decided by a data transmission circuit 2 and a light reflecting semiconductor element 7 obtained by evaporating a metal on the surface of a piezo-electric element e.g., is driven. The element 7 controls the reflection angle of light projected from a light emitting semiconductor element 3 on the data receiving side by the '1' or 'phi' of the data and sends the pulse wave of the light projected from the data receiving side. A light receiving semiconductor element 4 detects the ON/OFF of the reflected light from the element 7 and outputs a signal '1' or 'phi' to a data receiving circuit 5. Then, a data demodulating circuit 6 returns the data to a data format held before the transmission in accordance with '1' or 'phi' and data transmission is completed. Consequently, the appearance dimension of the equipment can be reduced and its power consumption can be also reduced. |
