<p>PURPOSE:To notify the occurrence of abnormality, when multiple feeding occurs, by providing pressure detecting means for detecting the component pressure toward the circumferential direction of a roller shaft at both ends of the roller, so that oblique feeding of a paper sheet can be prevented. CONSTITUTION:When it is detected by pressure sensors 4-a, 4-b that a sheet of paper is obliquely held between rollers, the supporting plate is turned by a prescribed amount around the shaft in correspondence to the amount of obliquity of the paper. Thus, the paper sheet is brought into the normal feeding position and is sent to the next process. If a paper sheet is transferred in an abnormal condition such as corner fold so as to be held between rollers, the outputs of the pressure sensors 4-a, 4-b reach an abnormal level having been set by abnomality detecting circuits 28-a and 28-b, so that abnormality is detected to output abnormality signals j, k. And, the abnormality signals j, k are input into an OR gate 29, and the output i of the OR gate 29 is input into an obliquity calculating circuit 25 to stop the rotation of rollers, and the paper feeding abnormality is notified by an indicator or the like.</p> |
