An apparatus for the delivery of granular material, for example salt, gravel, fertilizer, seed and similar material comprises a truck 2 having a container towed by a vehicle 1, for example a tractor. In the bottom and transversely to the direction of travel, the container has an oblong gap with a rotatable member 11, which, drawn by a hydraulic motor 8, performs delivery of the granular material along the whole of the gap. The hydraulic motor 8 is provided with oil pressure 18, 20 from the towing vehicle 1 through a hydraulic valve 19, which can be electrically operated from the control panel 21 of the vehicle 1 in the driver's cab. An electronic control circuit 7 detects 5 the speed of the truck in relation to the carriageway and likewise detects the delivery quantity 16 and commands the hydraulic motor 8 to deliver onto the carriageway the flow quantity per m < 2 > which is set on the control panel 21. The acquired effect is that the driver can set and alter the flow quantity at any time and without halting or having to leave the vehicle. <IMAGE>
