PURPOSE:To effectively use a disk by assigning a part of the document preserving area of the disk to a recording area when a data base program is registered in the hard disk and assigning the recording area to the document preserving area when the program is deleted from the disk. CONSTITUTION:The program of general loading routine, etc., is held by a main memory 2, a document is preserved, data for a data base are recorded and the program is registered by a hard disk device 3 and the data base program and its data are stored in a floppy disk device 4. When using the data base, a program registering instruction is issued from a keyboard 5, a part of the document preserving area of the device 3 is set into the data recording area for the data base and the program is registered from the device 4 to 3. When the data base is not used, a data base deleting instruction is issued from the keyboard 5 and the data recording area set in the device 3 is assigned to the former document preserving area. |
