PURPOSE:To improve environment-resistant stability without generating offset ting at the time of fixing by using a specific binder resin, incorporating a dye classified as 'C.I. Solvent Yellow 21(R)' as a charge control agent into a toner and further incorporating hardly water soluble inorg. salts having >=10<6>OMEGA-cm specific resistance therein. CONSTITUTION:The styrene-(meth)acrylic resin is used as the resin of this toner. The toner contains the dye classified as the 'C.I. Solvent Yellow 21(R)' and further contains the hardly water soluble inorg. salts having $10<6>OMEGA-cm specific resistance as well. The electrostatic chargeability is, therefore, stable over a long period of time and the electrostatic charge quantity is extremely less changed by a change in temp. and humidity. The styrene component needs be incorporated at a high ratio in the toner in order for the electrostatic charge of the styrene-(meth)acrylic resin to be stable and the content of said component is preferably >=70%. The toner which s good in offset resistance, fixability and preservable property and has the good environmental resistance is thereby obtd. |
