PURPOSE: To reduce cooling loss with a relatively simple method by connecting a cooling system to an electro-magnet low temperature bath, through a control low temperature bath, with a coolant line, and by, through a connection piece provided in the control low temperature bath, supplying a power source current to each electro-magnet coil with a superconductive cable in the coolant line while these coils are connected in series. CONSTITUTION: Each superconductive electro-magnet 17 is incorporated in plural control low temperature bath 20, 30 and 40, and connected to cooled plural electro-magnet low temperature baths 21, 31, and 41 through coolant lines 22, 32, and 42 highly insulated likewise. The electro-magnet low temperature baths 21, 31 and 41 house superconductive electro-magnet coils 24, 34 and 44 which, comprising a superconductive wire, are cooled to a temperature lower than the critical temperature with the coolant supplied from a cooling system 12. Inside the control low temperature bath 20, for example, the same superconductive connection wire as the superconductive electro-magnet coil 24 attached to the electro-magnet low temperature bath 21 is connected at connection points 26, 27, 28 and 29, while connected in series among others for power supply. |
