PURPOSE:To enhance the strength characteristic of a ring/spoke connection part, by controlling not only the ratio of the fibers passing round a fiber arrangement prescribing pin and the fibers not passing round said pin but also fiber winding order when long fibers impregnated with a resin are wound around a take-up jig. CONSTITUTION:Long fibers impregnated with a resin are wound around a take-up jig, wherein a fiber arrangement prescribing pin 4 is implanted in a ring/spoke branch part 13, on the basis of the combination of both of a winding pattern A forming only a ring part 11 and a winding pattern B forming the ring part 11 and a spoke part 12. At this time, the fibers are wound under such a condition that the altering number of times of patterns to the number of pattern altering chances (the non-altering number of times of patterns + the altering number of times of patterns) become formula I and the relation between the pattern B1 wherein the fibers are passed round the pin 4 to perform fiber arrangement and the pattern B2 wherein the fibers are not passed round the pin 4 to perform fiber arrangement of the pattern B becomes formula II. By this method, the fibers are densely interlaced at the branch part 13 so as to be knitted and an FRP steering wheel core 10 increased in strength can be prepared. |
