PURPOSE:To ensure high resistance to an external electric noise (electrostatic pulse) and to reduce the power consumption, by replacing periodically the holding contents of a holding circuit by a timer circuit. CONSTITUTION:A carrier wave modulated by a tone signal equivalent to a selective call signal is received and demodulated 20, and the tone signal of a frequency band decided by the 1st control signal is selectively transmitted 30 and receives a wave detection 40. A code corresponding to a prescribed selective call number is stored, and the codes read out 80 successively by the 2nd control signal is held 90. The held code is decoded to be used as the 1st control signal. The 2nd control signal is delivered, and at the same time the received selective call signal is detected 50. The alarm information 60 is produced in response to the detecting signal 50. If no tone signal is detected for a fixed time, a timer output signal is used to repeat an operation to set again the waiting state. |
