The present invention relates to a device making it possible to bring back on board a craft with an engine and without effort the ballast (anchor or grab anchor) necessary for keeping the boat at a fixed point. This device, whose model will be proportional to the ballast, consists of a ring made from a floating material provided in its internal perimeter with a stainless steel hoop intended to prevent wear caused by the friction of the rope or chain. It acts as a winch, whence its name GAINDOS (back-saver) with reference to the effort avoided. <IMAGE>
