PURPOSE:To improve stability by forming a photosensitive layer contg. a specified bisazo compd. on an electrically conductive support. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive layer contg. a bisazo compd. represented by formula I is formed on an electrically conductive support. In formula I, each of R1 and R2 is H, halogen, optionally substd. alkyl, optionally substd. alkoxy, nitro, cyano or hydroxy, Z is a group of atoms required to form a carbocyclic arom. ring or a heterocyclic arom. ring, each of X and Y is H, optionally substd. alkyl, optionally substd. aryl or an optionally substd. heterocyclic group, and each of (m) and (n) is an integer of 1-3. The stability of the resulting sensitive body at the time of repeated use is improved. |
