PURPOSE:To inform a photographer of abnormal range finding and to prevent failure in photographing by emitting and drying plural light emitting elements in order and judging and displaying abnormal range finding when outputs of received light from photodetectors other than photodetectors corresponding to the specific light emitting elements are obtained. CONSTITUTION:The photodetector 3a is provided for the light emitting element 2a, the photodetector 3b for the light emitting element 2b, and the photodetector 3c for the light emitting element 2c. When projected beams are reflected in photographing through a glass 13, the elements 2a-2c cannot obtain outputs of received light from their respective photodetectors 3a-3c which have correspondence with said elements. When outputs of received light are obtained from photodetectors other than said photodetectors, which have no correspondence, that is judged to be abnormal range finding, and is displayed in a finder by an LED 7, etc. Thus, a photographer immediately realizes abnormal range finding to prevent photographing failure. |
