<p>PURPOSE:To concentrate mercury contained in a precipitate to a high grade in a high yield and to easily separate and recover it, by subjecting the precipitate to preliminary leaching and by concentrating the mercury in floated ore by conventional flotation. CONSTITUTION:A precipitate contg. low grade mercury is subjected to primary leaching in a soln. contg. an oxidizing agent or a ferrous sulfate soln. After carrying out solid-liq. separation as required, flotation is applied to concentrate the mercury in floated ore. The mercury compounds in the precipitate contg. mercury are easily separated by flotation by subjecting the precipitate to the primary leaching.</p> |
