PURPOSE: To keep sure refrigeration even if a tubesheet is not arranged horizontally by constituting a device for heat exchange such that cooling bores, as seen from the heat exchanger side, do not penetrate the tubesheet completely and are, in their base area, connected via feed bores to a cooling water supply line, the water being fed to the heat exchange chamber via the cooling bores. CONSTITUTION: Inlet tubes 8a and 8b leads to high-pressure gas chambers 10a and 10b, each filling the tubesheet 6 partially. Cooled gas circulates through the channel parts of heat exchange tubes 11a and 11b, which start from and return to the tubesheet 6 and are U-shaped at the upper sides thereof, to be exhausted through annular tubes 9a and 9b, thus keeping tubular nozzles 7a and 7b at a temperature as low as that of the wall of a channel 5. The tubesheet 6 is provided with a series of cooling bores 12, which do not penetrate the tubesheet 6 completely, and water entering through a water supply line 14 is directly fed to a heat exchange chamber 3 via the cooling bores 12. Also, water for generating steam or a water/steam mixture is fed to the heat exchange chamber 3 through a supply nozzle 16 to be heated therein, while evaporated fluid or mixture goes out of the chamber 3 via a nozzle 17. |
