This terminal includes, on each phase, an upstream/downstream linkage conductor 23, 25 connecting an upstream distribution-network connection 1 to a downstream user-installation connection 8, this linkage conductor passing through a current transformer having a torus 14 connected to a counting device, all the aforementioned elements being combined in a common box 17. According to the invention, switchable means 29 are provided on the linkage conductor in order for the upstream/downstream linkage conductor to pass through the torus a variable number of times, especially for it to pass through the torus either once or twice, so as to adapt the transformer ratio to the power subscribed by the user. Advantageously, the tori 14, the linkage conductors 23, 25 and the switchable means 29 of the various phases are mounted on a common plate 20 which includes partitions for separation from the upstream and downstream connections 1, 8 and their associated isolating (sectioning) devices 18, 27, 28, 29, so as to allow the operation of the switchable means in complete safety, voltage being applied to the downstream-side terminal. <IMAGE>
