PURPOSE:To obtain the winding with which even the coils in the center part can be cooled without fail by a method wherein a non-magnetic good heat conductive material, both surfaces of which are pinched by insulated sheets, is provided between the layer of coils, and the end part of said good heat con ductive material is exposed to outside from the winding spool. CONSTITUTION:A spool 1, the coil 2 wound around the spool 1 in multiple layers, and a non-magnetic good conductor of heat 10, which is provided between the layers of the coil 2 and having both surfaces pinched by an insulating sheet 11, are provided, and the end part of said good conductor of heat 10 exposed to outside from the spool 1. For example, a circular cooling holes 12 are formed on the end part of the spool 1 corresponding to the interlayer of the coil 2, and the end parts of the good conductor of heat 10 and the insulating sheet 11 are attached to the cooling holes 12. In the superconducting winding constitut ed as above, the winding is cooled by conduction through the good conductor of heat 10 which is led outside through the cooling holes 12 to liquid helium. |
