<p>A turbine for an exhaust gas turbocharger comprises a turbine housing (1) containing a spiral bypass channel (8) which runs parallel to the spiral turbine channel (3) and surrounds the turbine outlet (5). Outlet openings (9) lead axially from the spiral bypass channel (8) in the direction of the exhaust gases flowing through the turbine outlet (5) and tangentially to the direction of rotation of the turbine impeller (2) and open into the turbine outlet (5). The bypass gases exert an injector effect on the exhaust gases, thereby reducing the pressure behind the turbine.</p> |
