A ready-for-sale, portable, multi-article packaging for containers requires only a minimal quantity of packaging material, reveals the packaged contents such as cans and glasses over their entire height, is convenient to handle, and possesses goods inherent stability for the transfer of goods from the manufacturer to the consumer via the retailer. This packaging for a plurality of containers of identical shape and size comprises a cut-out cardboard piece (10, 12, 20) with a flap in each corner which can be folded through 90 DEG and arranged between the walls (13a) of two containers. The surface of the bottom (11, 21) of the cardboard cut-out piece (10, 12, 20) is less than or equal to the surface of the base of the four or six containers (13, 14) and includes the area of the bottom of the containers (13, 14) or at least part thereof. A hoop-casing strip (15) surrounds the multi-article packaging at approximately mid-height of the walls (13a) of the container and binds the cardboard cut-out piece (10, 12, 20) and the containers into a solid multi-article packaging. |
