PURPOSE:To reduce noise caused by toner supply actions by controlling an agitating means slower than usual when the toner ratio density of two components in developer is a prescribed value and when image formation is awaited. CONSTITUTION:When the toner ratio density of two-component containing developer in a developing device 7 shows a prescribed value and when image formation is awaited, toner supply is controlled to slow down. Namely, a control means 40 controls an agitation driving means 30 operating the agitating means slower than usual when the toner ratio density of the two-component containing developer in the developing device 7 shows a prescribed value among values requiring toner supply and when image formation is awaited. Thus, unpleasant feelings for everyone caused by an agitating action can be reduced. |
