<p>An improved tubing connector assembly for coupling flexible tubing (18) and forming a fluid tight seal is described. The tubing connector assembly includes a connector (12) threadably engaging a nut (20) to full enclose a ferrule (28) and a collet (38). Due to the surface interaction between the components of the invention, the ferrule (28) and collet (38) are axially compressed to grasp the tubing (18) and obtain a very strong mechanical grip.</p> |
