BACK-UP SYSTEM FOR PLANT DIAGNOSIS

PURPOSE:To easily form a knowledge data base for on-line diagnosis by securing the definition of correspondence between the knowledge data and a plant data base with use of a plant data identification number when a knowledge base is formed on a CRT display screen. CONSTITUTION:The plant signals showing the plant states are turned into the digital signals and stored in a diagnosing device as a plant data base. The events are stored as the knowledge data when a fault tree is defined on the screen of a CRT display device. In this case, the event numbers are allocated to show the storing positions of the events and at the same time the plant data are allocated by the identification numbers to define each event on the screen of the CRT display device. Thus it is possible to automatically produce a mapping table which shows the correspondence between the event numbers and the plant data identification numbers.
