With a device for adjusting a pivotable bed-frame part, a solution is to be provided which makes it possible for a simple latching lever to be brought into the individual latching positions and also returned to the starting position. This is achieved in that the latching recesses (2) are formed on a first fitting part (3) in the front face of a web (8), in that the slide (4) is provided with latching recesses (2), corresponding to the latching recesses (2) of the first fitting part (3), and with raised surfaces (15) lying therebetween, the slide (4) being guided parallel to the web (8), in that the latching lever (5) on the second fitting part (3) is provided with a stepped bolt (16) which is movable on the front face (14) of the web (8) and is also movable, via a collar (17), on the front face of the slide (4), and in that the slide (4) is displaceable with its recesses (13) from a position aligned with the recesses (2) on the web (8) to a return position aligned with the raised surfaces (15) with the recesses (2) and back. <IMAGE>
