In pallets of this type, the attachment frames made of cardboard are guided and connected by means of tabs which are fixed by their walls and on the pallet. In this case, the end faces of the attachment frame walls stand up on the upper deck of the pallet. In particular in the case of frequent storage in open air, the pallets are naturally exposed to the elements, the risk then existing that moisture, in particular rain water, will enter through the open, unprotected end faces of the cardboard, soften it and thus virtually destroy it. A similar weak point is formed by the wall openings through which bolts are inserted. Planned multiple use of the relevant cardboard is therefore very often impossible, which means that the costs for using the pallets are disproportionately high. According to the invention, provision is therefore made for at least two clamping devices (3) to be arranged in each case at least on two opposite sides of the upper deck (10). In this case, each clamping device (3) is guided longitudinally displaceably in curved paths (14) provided in webs (11) of the pallet. In the clamping position, the clamping devices (3) are supported on angled tabs (8) of the attachment frame (2) which rest on the upper deck. Since now no openings in the attachment frame are exposed directly to the elements, the usability is increased considerably, thus reducing the operating costs in total. <IMAGE>
