The assembly tool, esp. for the motor car industry, is used for assembling two or more fixings with an immovable first element, like button clips or fixing discs to be pressed on to projecting bolts. The tool is equipped with a compressed air cylinder whose piston is connected to a piston rod. Two of the immovable elements are held by the jaws (31, 33) of the tool head (3), which can swivel about a pair of axes (33,35'). The piston (21) is in contact with the ends (32',34') of the jaws (31,33) through a coiled spring (42). USE/ADVANTAGE - The tool assembles fixings or fasteners. Has a pair of swivelling jaws activated by a compressed air piston.
