PURPOSE:To prevent the bursting of a container caused by heat generation by arranging a carbon powder-containing resin film having a positive terminal characteristic which increases electric resistance with increase in temperature on the surface of a negative terminal or a positive terminal. CONSTITUTION:A carbon powder-containing resin film 10 having a positive temperature-resistance characteristic which increases electric resistance with increase in temperature is arranged on a positive terminal 2 or a negative terminal 3. The resin film 10 consists of polyolefin resin such as polyethylene and polypropylene mixed with acetylene black as the carbon powder, and in which the content of the carbon powder is about 5-30% by weight and the film thickness is about 30-200mum. Even if a battery generates heat by the short circuit in an appliance circuit, current is shut off to prevent the bursting of the battery caused by heat generated. |
