PURPOSE:To enhance electrostatic chargeability and to obviate film exfoliation even by contact of a cleaning plate and generation of flaws, etc., so that the disturbance in an image in high-humidity environment is prevented by laminating a conductive base, photosensitive layer, charge holding layer, intermediate layer and protective layer successively on an electrophotographic sensitive body and forming the charge holding layer and the intermediate layer of specific compsns. to specific thicknesses. CONSTITUTION:The conductive base 1, the photosensitive layer 2, the charge holding layer 3, the intermediate layer 4 and the protective layer 5 are successively laminated on the electrophotographic sensitive body. The charge holding layer 3 is formed of the specific silicone resin layer and the compsn. after heating is composed of 55-88wt.% contents of silicon and oxygen, 10-30wt.% content of carbon, 1-10wt.% content of nitrogen, and 1-10wt.% content of hydrogen; in addition, the thickness thereof is specified to 100-2,000Angstrom . The intermediate layer 4 is formed of zirconium tetraquisacetonate contg. a silane coupling agent and the film thickness thereof is specified to 100-1,000Angstrom . |
