PURPOSE:To obtain a vulcanized rubber markedly improved in adhesiveness, by adding a specified hydrocarbon polymer to a vulcanized polyolefin rubber while forming a primer layer of a specified organic active halogen compound on its surface. CONSTITUTION:The adhesiveness of the surface of a vulcanized rubber can be markedly improved by adding a hydroxylterminated hydrocarbon polymer (A) (e.g., a polyhydroxypolybutadiene of an average MW of 1000-20000, which has at least one hydroxyl group in the molecule and whose main chain is saturated or partially saturated) to a vulcanized polyolefin rubber (e.g., ethylene/ propylene/diene terpolymer rubber), while forming a primer layer of an organic active halogen compound (B) having a bond of the formula (wherein X is a halogen) in the molecule (e.g., halogenated succinimide) on its surface. When said vulcanized rubber having the primer layer on the surface is used as a primer composition, a strong adhesive force can be attained in painting, flocking, etc., and peeling of a paint film, flocks, etc., can be prevented without fail. |
