<p>PURPOSE: To increase an orientation rate by constituting an oriented polymer film of at least one layer comprising a crosslinkable polymer and containing a pro-rad linking agent from the beginning to irradiate the same with electron beam or by compounding the pro-rad linking agent with the crosslinkable poly mer to introduce the same into the polymer before irradiation. CONSTITUTION: An oriented polymer film is constituted of at least one layer comprising a crosslinkable polymer and containing a pro-rad linking agent from the beginning and irradiated with electron beam and both of the content of the pro-rad linking agent and an irradiation dose are set to a degree sufficient to provide the crosslinking quantity effective for achieving an increased orientation rate. The pro-rad linking agent is introduced into the crosslinkable polymer by compounding a crosslinking agent with the crosslinkable polymer and the extruded polymer is exposed to an electron beam irradiation to orient the polymer at least in one direction and, both of the first amt. of the pro-rad linking agent and the irradiation dose are set to a degree sufficient to provide the crosslinking of quantity effective for achieving an increased orientation rate in an orientation process.</p> |
