PURPOSE:To make it possible to tighten a superconducting coil fast by a uniform force and to simplify an operation, by utilizing a thermal expansion difference between the superconducting coil and a spool for fixing the superconducting coil. CONSTITUTION:A temporary winding core 1 and a flange 1a are assembled and a superconducting coil 2 is wound round on the temporary winding core 1. Thereafter the flange 1a is removed from the temporary winding core 1, which is also removed from the coil 2. A prescribed temperature difference being provided between the superconducting coil 2 and a cylindrical winding core 3, the winding core 3 is inserted into the superconducting coil 2 in a state wherein the dimension of the outside diameter of the winding core 3 is smaller than the dimension of the inside diameter of the superconducting coil 2. Then a uniform force is given from the winding core 3 in the superconducting coil 2 toward the outside diameter in a process of the temperature of the superconducting coil 2 and that of the winding core 3 becoming identical. In the state wherein the two are at the same temperature, the flange 1a and the winding core 3 are assembled. Thereafter vacuum pressure impregnation is applied to impregnate the superconducting coil 2 with varnish. |
