PURPOSE:To obtain the title material which has the high contrast characteristic and the high dot quality of a photographic image by incorporating a phthalocyanine compd. in the sensitive material. CONSTITUTION:Under coat layers having 0.1mum of thickness are mounted on the both surfaces of a polyethylene film with 100mum of thickness. A silver halide emulsion layer contg. the phthalocyanine compd. shown by the formula is applied on the surface of one of the under coat layers in amounts of gelatin of 1.5g/m<2> and silver of 3.3g/m<2> respectively, and a protective layer is applied thereon in amount of the gelatin of 1g/m<2>. And, a backing layer is applied in amount of the gelatin of 3.5g/m<2> on an another under coat layer on the reverse side of the film, and the protective layer is also applied thereon. Especially, the compounding amount of the phthalocyanine compd. is preferably in a range of 5X10<-5>-1X10<-2>mol per 1mol. of silver halide contd. in the photographic sensitive material. |
