APPARATUS AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING A FOOD PRODUCT

The apparatus comprises a barrel 5 with a nozzle 8 on one end. Heater 7 is associated with nozzle 8 to heat a food mixture/formulation which is to be fed under pressure therein to a preselected upper temperature and thus form a food paste. A differentially heated mould 9, 10 is associated with nozzle 8 to receive the food paste to be ejected therefrom and then to form a moulded food product from the food paste. The food mixture/formulation contains a heat sensitive binding agent.
