PURPOSE:To obtain the title molded item having excellent pressure resistance and being especially suitable for instrumental analyses such as ionic liq. chromatography, by providing ion exchange groups on the inner wall face of a hollow molded item made of an org. polymer. CONSTITUTION:The title molded item is a hollow molded item made of an org. polymer (when a liq. is passed through the inside of the hollow molded item, it is pref. that the liq. neither permeates through nor breaks the inner wall and the inner diameter is 10-3,000mu) and has ion exchange groups on the inner wall face. When a high pressure is applied, conventional ion exchange resins and ion exchange fibers are densely filled to increase the resistance to liq. flow and the shapes are eventually broken. The ion exchange hollow molded item of the present invention has excellent pressure resistance and high freedom of the shape in comparison with the conventional ion exchange products. When this tube is bent to form a coil shape, etc., an effective area can be sufficiently ensured. It can be effectively used in the field of instrumental analysis such as ionic liq. chromatography where especially high separation efficiency is required. |
