PURPOSE:To provide a herbicide composition containing chlomeprop and a dinitroaniline derivative, having extended herbicidal spectrum and capable of exterminating harmful weeds at a low rate of application. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition contains, as active components, (A) 2-(2,4-dichloro-3-methylphenoxy)propionanilide (chlomeprop) and (B) a compound of formula [X is lower alkyl; CF3, methane-sulfonyl, aminosulfonyl, acetyl or dimethylsulfyliminosulfonyl; Y is H, amino or methyl; R1 and R2 are H, 1-5C alkyl, lower cycloalkyl, (lower alkyl)allyl, tetrahydrofurfuryl or methyl- aminocarbonylethyl], e.g., trifluralin or benzofluralin. The amount of the component B is 0.01-10 pts.wt., preferably 0.1-2 pts.wt. based on 1 pt.wt. of the component A. |
