PURPOSE:To continue the constant speed running in a set car speed, by shifting down a gear of an automatic transmission, when an actual car speed is decreased less than the set car speed by a predetermined value or more and a signal outputted for the constant speed running at the set car speed is maximum. CONSTITUTION:A discriminating circuit 13 gives an output when a difference between the actual car speed VA and the set car speed VM is a predetermined value VB or more, and a discriminating circuit 14 gives an output when a difference between the actual car speed VA and the set car speed VM is a predetermined value VC or more. Since the relation of VB>VC is decided, the output is produced from the discriminating circuit 14 at the car speed drop. When an output signal IA of an actuator drive circuit 5 is inputted to the discrimination circuit 15 and the signal IA is equal to a maximum value VB possible for output as an output signal (that is, IA-IB=0), the output signal is given from the discrimination circuit 15. When the output signal is given from both of the discriminating circuits 14 and 15, the AND condition of an AND gate 16 is established and a kick-down switch 17 is turned on. As a result, a hydraulic changeover solenoid is energized and the shift-down is attained. |
