APPARATUS FOR DRIVING MOVING STAND

PURPOSE:To smoothly move a moving stand, by providing an auxiliary moving stand connecting the leading end of a cable pulling-around bear receiving electric wiring or an air hose apart from a moving stand having machinery mounted thereon and reciprocally moving the same in the vicinity of said moving stand in connection therewith by a separate drive apparatus. CONSTITUTION:An ink jet device 13 directly injects ink to a sheet like recording material according to an image signal during the rotation of a rotary drum 12 and a moving stand 14 is moved by a drive pulley 17 and a timing belt 15. A drive sprocket 24 is rotated together with the drive pulley 17 and a chain 22 runs at the same speed as the timing belt 15 and an auxiliary moving stand 20 connecting a cable pulling-around bear 21 moves so as to follow the moving stand 14 while a definite interval is held from said stand 14. The load variation of the pulling-around bear 21 is supported by the chain 22 and does not act on the timing belt 15.
