PURPOSE:To obtain the title adhesive excellent in tensile strength in an uncured state, processable into a thin film and excellent in adhesive performances, by mixing a raw organopolysiloxane rubber with specified wet-process silica, a curing agent and a specified organoalkoxysilane. CONSTITUTION:The title adhesive comprises a silicone rubber composition mainly consisting of 100 pts.wt. raw organopolysiloxane rubber (A) of formula I [wherein R is a (substituted) monovalent hydrocarbon group, and n is 1.9-2.1], 30-150 pts.wt. wet-process hydrophobic silica (B) comprising organosiloxane units selected from the group consisting of units of formulas II, III and IV (wherein R is as defined above) and a mixture thereof and SiO2 units (the molar ratio of the organosiloxane units to the SiO2 units is 0.01-2.0) and having a specific surface area >=200m<2>/l, a sufficient amount of a curing agent (C) and 0.1-10 pts.wt. organoalkoxysilane having a functional group selected from among SH, NH2, an alkenyl, and (meth)acryloxy and its partial hydrolyzate (D), wherein the tensile strength (at 25 deg.C)of this composition in an uncured state is 1.5-5.0kg/cm<2>. |
