PURPOSE:To prevent slippage of vehicle wheels before hand so as to maintain the running safety of a vehicle by displaying an actually measured value of a turning area in turning operation of the vehicle in comparison with a limit value in the turning area set on the basis of the performance and the like of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION:An actual measurement value detection means 3 is provided for operating the actual measurement value in the turning area in correspondence with cornering force from an output signal from a vehicle speed sensor 1 and a steering angle sensor 2. Further, a limit value setting means 5 is provided for setting the limit value of the turning area in correspondence with the grip force of wheel from the output signal of a road face (mu) sensor 4. The output signals of the means 3, 5 are respectively input to a display means 6 so as to display the actual measurement value of the turning area whether it is in whichever ratio with respect to the limit value of the turning area or not. It is thus possible for a driver to prevent the wheels of vehicle from being slipped before hand, and to always maintain the running stability under good conditions. |
