PURPOSE:To obtain a polyfunctional food having physiological action, masking or stabilizing other useful substances or making the substances into sustained release substances, by packing a core material into voids of a porous material obtained by granulating a fibrous powder material with a binder and sealing the material with a polymer material and/or a lipid. CONSTITUTION:1kg fibrous material (e.g., bean-curd refuse) is blended with 2-50g aqueous solution of a binder (e.g., gluten) and granulated to give a porous material. Then the porous material is immersed in a solution of a core material (e.g., tryptophan), 30-50% core material is packed into voids of the porous material and immersed in a solution of a polymer material (e.g., gelatin) and/or lipid (e.g., lecithin) for 10-120minutes to seal the voids of the porous material. |
