<p>PURPOSE:To keep the continuity of a program by starting and stopping fast forwarding in accordance with signals of start and stop positions of reproducing cut. CONSTITUTION:The image of a scene just before an unnecessary part is stored in a one-picture memory 3 at the time of detecting the start position of this unnecessary part, and the memory 3 is repeatedly read out to output a still picture during fast forwarding for cutting of the unnecessary part. A system controller 8 outputs a first signal indicating the start position of cutting of the unnecessary part in accordance with the output of a first signal recording switch 10 on the way of reproducing, and it is written on a tape by a recording and reproducing head 6 for control. When a second signal recording switch 11 is operated after operation of the switch 10, a second signal indicating the end position of cutting is outputted. The reproduced signal from the tape is decoded by a decoder 7, and a normal synchronizing signal is given to a servo system 5, and first and second detection outputs instruct the servo system 5 to start fast forwarding, write one frame in the memory 3, and sop fast forwarding through the controller 8. Thus, the unnecessary part is cut to keep the continuity of the program.</p> |
