<p>PURPOSE:To enable two pallets to be received/shipped simultaneously at its maximum by referring to an empty shelf to which two pallets can be received/shipped simultaneously, referring to a shelf to see whether or not an adjacent shelf is empty, referring to an empty shelf close to a receiving/shipping entrance, and thereby determining a shelf reference in order set forth herein above in determining a receiving/shipping shelf for an automatic storing ware house provided with a crane equipped with two forks. CONSTITUTION:When receiving/shipping requirement items and numbers of pallets are set into a receiving/shipping requirement setting section 101, two pallets are handles as one unit, and an empty shelf reference for receiving/shipping is made by a receiving determination section 102 and a shipping determination section 109 respectively based on the information of a shelf file 103. Namely, a reference is made to an empty shelf by an empty shelf reference section 104 or 110, by which two pallets can be simultaneously received or shipped. When no empty shelf is available, a reference is made to a shelf an adjacent shelf to which is empty, by a shelf reference section 105 and 111. If no empty shelf is yet available, a reference is made to a shelf close to a receiving/shipping entrance by a simple shelf reference section 106 and 112. Thus, it is possible to make use of simultaneous receiving/shipping of two pallets at its maximum.</p> |
