PURPOSE:To investigate the destruction of a memory area without depending on labor by obtaining an area, to which store protection is loaded, with designating a sub-pool number, obtaining the trace of memory destruction in the part, setting a control table, etc., which is desired to be investigated, and investigating the memory destruction due to a software. CONSTITUTION:An initial setting means 13 obtains an area for trace information storage in the fixed area of an operating system as a control block when operating system operation is started. Next, when an area obtaining request is a parameter to be designated by the sub-pool number, which is newly provided, control is received from VS control by a new attribute area obtaining means 14 and an area, in which an alternative store is prohibited, is allocated. Then, the page number of the area and space identifying display, which is the sub-pool number, are stored in the head of the area and the control is returned. Each time the CPU instruction of an updating system is outputted to the control block, a necessary updating experience is obtained on the area by an area trace memory 15. Thus, the destruction of the control block can be easily investigated without depending on the labor. |
