STAINLESS STEEL POWDER COATING OF A BRIQUETTE BOILER

The method comprises (i) blast cleaning the surface to coat, (ii) precoating with Ni-base alloy powder, (iii) pre-heating at 100-200 deg.C and (iv) generating plasma in the front part of gun (2) and melt-spraying stainless steel powder (5) by compressed air (4) under inert i.e. CO2, Ar stream (3) to coat the boiler against corrosion from gas.
