PURPOSE:To prevent vibrations and disturbing noises from generating by the movement in a thrust direction of each shaft, by pressing the end parts of a feed roller rotary shaft and a carriage guide shaft into contact with an elastic side pressure plate provided outside a frame side plate. CONSTITUTION:Elastic side pressure plates 41A, 41B both made of elastic material are fixedly provided outside the opposite side plates of a frame 1 (only the side of the pressure plate 41A is shown in the drawing). Protrusions 42A, 42B are formed in each of the elastic side pressure plates 41A, 41B at the positions corresponding to an axial center of a feed roller shaft 21 and a guide shaft 4 inside the plate, respectively. Since the force acting in the axial direction of the carriage guide shaft 4 is larger than that of the feed roller shaft 21, the width of a part of the side pressure plates 41A, 41B to which the end of the carriage guide shaft 4 is pressed in contact is made smaller than that of the part thereof where the feed roller shaft 21 is in pressed contact, so that the former is much more influenced by the effects of the elasticity. Thus, the rattlings in the axial direction of each shaft can be restricted, thereby to prevent the generation of vibrations and abnormal noises. |
